Woman: No, seriously, you can not be serious. Me: Um, bye.
Needless to say, guess who is going to Court?
Being the overachiever I am, I opted to go to the courthouse before the date on the citation. Yesterday I drove over there and stood in line for an hour, in front of a bearded woman who was talking to herself. (I wish I was kidding).
Finally got to the clerk only to find out that the ticket was not even in their system yet. Icing on the top of the cake was she said “thank you sir” when I told her to have a nice day. Seriously!! This is the gift that keeps on giving.
So here is the moral of the story. Do not rush. Do not rush through a stop sign, and especially do not rush get the ticket taken care of.
